I was proud to serve with some of the finest Marines the Corps has ever produced. And having met and spoke to many of the present 5th Marines who are or have served in Iraq, you can all be very proud. They are a tremendous bunch of young men.
Lastly, no matter how much kidding we Marines give you Airmen, we do appreciate all the air support you guys have given the Marine Corps over all these decades! PERIOD!
