That's because we don't think it is OK to put glass in baby food as long as you put a warning sticker on the jar.
I don't think anyone does, unless there's a big market out there for glass-filled baby food of which I'm unaware.
If there was a market that wanted that, however, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't deny baby-food companies the right to meet the market demand by selling that product to those who want it. After all, stopping stupid people from hurting themselves in the pocketbook isn't a problem government can solve. Not even the liberals agitated to ban the pet rock.

Actually, I'm pretty sure God gave us all the right to do good and evil. Somewhere around the time of the Garden of Eden, I think.

That's true. But what's your point? That the gov't "shouldn't impose its morality on others"?
Well, what about laws regarding murder? Adultery? Theft? Zoning? Embezzling? Pornography? Public health? Should the gov't take a hands-off policy regarding these things?
Yes, we have the God-given freedom to choose good or evil, but at the same time, the government has the God-given responsibility to protect the lives of its citizens and to promote the common good.
Murder, adultery, theft, and embezzling violate the rights of others; drug use and pornography do not, and so are not the legitimate concern of government. (Zoning and public health laws are gray areas in that they can protect individual rights but those powers can also be abused.)
The State is obligated to promote the common good, which includes the defense of individual rights. If the State is obligated to defend individual rights, rights must necessarily and logically come from a higher authority than the State. Not only that, but rights advocates claim that rights are true regardless of time or place; they are eternal. Eternal rights can only come from an eternal source: God.
Therefore, no one enjoys a God-given right to do evil (since God is goodness itself), whether or not another party agrees to it, i.e., drug use, prostitution and pornography.
(BTW, there is no such thing as a private vice)
Whether particular vices should be criminalized and/or punished is a different matter, and it's a decision which should be ordered toward the common good.

Unchanging rights derive from the unchanging nature of humans, regardless of whether one believes that the source of that nature is God, let alone that God's supernatural law forbids drug use or pornography.
You have ignored my post #42 regarding the 'evil.'
If not evil then what would want to eradicate a gift from God which happens to possess in its seed the most complete and absorbable combination of amino acids required by the human body for sustenance of any plant on the face of earth? It contains the likeness of our body in its seed as well as the likeness of our minds working in its flower and we are made in the likeness of God.
