Admiral Boorda committed suicide upon learning that Hackworth had an article coming out in Newsweek saying that Boorda had not earned some of his medals.

It was determined that the Admiral DID earn all his medals.

Hackworth had to remove some of HIS medals.

You are entitled to your opinion but you are not entitled to print misrepresentations.

Thanks for setting the record straight about Hackworth. I was not a fan and had nothing but contempt for his views on Iraq. That said, may he RIP...
