And I know of no one who those quacks in Mexico have cured. But I know of several people those bas***ds have killed with their snake oil treatments.
You know, that's true. You always hear about people making a pilgrimage to Mexico while in the last stages of cancer, yet I have never once read a success story - never.
Exactly. Quacks in Mexico who offer false hope (for a price) for people who are beyond treatment
I do. My office mate's husband has lived several years beyond what the US doctor's predicted. He's still going downhill, but fairly slowly. He's also under treatment by a local hospice for the terminally ill, having been terminal for those several years. His wife has no illusions that he'll be "cured", but wants to keep him around as long as she can. At least so there grandchildren can have known their grandpa. He's in his mid to early 50s, and is also a Vietnam Vet and former Marine who switched to the Army from which he retired about 10 or so years ago.
I know someone who was saved by laetrille (sp?) which had to be procured in Mexico. It's 30 years later and she's still alive and kicking.
