"The relgious right represents the moral consensus that existed before the "sexual revolution." Why should they abandon their notions of right and wrong"
I have to say, I'm all for the sexual revolution. It's been pretty good to me. Let's let the marketplace of ideas sort out moral questions and attitudes without using the power of the state to shove ideas down people's throats.
It's been good for you has it? Glad you are happy.
What's at issue here though is the court imposed secular agenda, not your sexual freedoms.
The "sexual revolution" is using the power of the state. State power has been weilded to shove the radical gay agenda down the throats of young children.
And that's not "good" for them at all.
In what way could it "be good to one"?
Slim, in politics, your "marketplace of ideas" is decided by elections. And, right now, the team that lost -- the minority -- is trying to shove their ideas down everybody's throat.
Now, just who is it that is abusing the system?
Um...ok, so you'll put common sense morality aside as long as you can get laid. I mean, its not like exposing younger children to sexual themes/issues, illegitimate children as a result of promiscuous behavior, children with one parent, and STD's are a detriment to a free society of anything.
Ah...to be young and dumb.
The marketplace has no role whatsoever to play in moral questions.
Typical libertarian paganism.
