For the freedom you enjoyed yesterday...
Thank the Veterans who served in The United States Armed Forces.
~May~ National Military Appreciation Month~
We thank you, you who volunteer To join the military to protect what's here... The Constitution, the Rule of law, Our way of freedom loved by all In this wondrous land of ours Whose Stars and Stripes flow freely Oer the land, whose seas are free, Dont tread on us... we are too, proud To let you turn us into dust!
We appreciate your bravery, your valor, Your honor, your gallantry, Thank You for all you do. And let Freedom ring the whole world through.
The price that's paid for freedom made an entire family terribly sad. A nation must know the price that's paid of blood, of tears, of love, greater than any made a life for freedom paid.
May our gracious God touch the hearts and ease their pain. Their loved one did not die in vain... A Hero walks tall in a lofty land of peace and will be forever young, In the Mansions of the Lord.
Amen

Are you going to tell us the punch line to the joke about the Indian maidens or not?
I'm dying over here of curiosity!

I work for engineers... whole 'nuther breed! Oh God! I married one. They can be highly useful and pleasant, but they break things, turn the decor to grease, and have no Sense-Of-Humor Gene.

Are you and dad going to be able to fish with him?
Do you wear polarized sunglasses for fishing?

Fishing's not one of my hobbies. Web surfing and visiting on message boards are.
Dad will probably go with him.

Tia, can you teach me to be nice as you? MamaB, I came here to learn how to be nicer but, try as I might, I still scare people sometimes. Some of us are here for remedial treatment, but we're somewhat harmless.

For those FReepers who may not be aware:
There is an update site for Microsoft Office Security Updates just as there is for Windows at the following link: ( Click on the "Check for Updates" link near the top of the page and a little bit to the left of center. )

Have you had the honor of being welcomed aboard the Canteen's yacht that Tonk graciously donated?
she said tongue in cheek...

Ah ~ but those muscles. Reminds me of the joke where the blonde says, "give me $500 and I'll do anything you want." And the guy gives her $500 and replies, "paint my house". She could paint your house.

I don't fish, either. I was just wondering if fishers really did wear polarized glasses which allow them to see into the water. And asked if you are left handed because statistically, most draftsmen and even more architects are left handed. Retired from Boston business, that sort of info still fuels me.
