I don't get why the First Lady was branded as this shy, passive housewife; I've always seen her as a very intelligent, modern woman who reminds me alot of my mother.

I do agree she is all the things you said but I just find it "acting out of character" so to speak.

I've always felt that she had a pretty edgy sense of humor; it's just that the media has always played up the librarian/ schoolteacher/ not Hillary part of her background instead
