Without prosecution of employers AND better border enforcement, there is absolutely no incentive for employers not to hire illegals.

I agree. I've written to my congresscritters about this, but never received a reply.

My "plan:"

For a first offense, the employer would be fined $500 per employee, if they have false "documentation," and $1000 if they don't. After that, it no longer matters. This would just be a "wakeup call" to make sure that they have good documentation.

On the second offense, the employer would be fined $5,000 per illegal employee.

On a third offense, it goes up to $25,000 per illegal.

When the jobs for illegal aliens dry up, they'll stop coming.

Mark

My plan: Raid McDonalds. If there is so much as 1 illegal alien, confiscate the store property, sell it at auction, jail the owners 120 days for each illegal, fine the owners $25,000 per illegal, fin the managers $5,000 per illegal, jail the illegals for 120 days then send them home. The bank loses the property, the owner looses the property and their liberty, McDonalds looses a store and faces public discrimination.

Get on the 5:00 news and announce the result sof the raid and state that there will be W-2, W-4, and I-9 inspections of each and every business in the area.

Wanna bet there isn't an illegal in town left by the next day?
