That link IMO is terrible.
Does not aid our cause and reflects badly on FreeRepublic.
As a seasoned member here you should know better.
Think before you link.

Even if the Governor were to do the right thing and deploy the California National Guard to the Mexican border, the president could simply federalize them and sent them right back to their barracks.

Arnold would never start this process in the first place but if he did and Bush called them back, that would destroy Bush's credibility among conservatives and leave him almost no friends to defend him against liberals.

It would finally force his hand to do something about the border problem.

The truth is a bit hard to accept at times...especially when faced with the fact that our conservative Republican president, George W. Bush, is a total and complete failure when it comes to protecting our borders.

Either post the California National Guard on the border, or seed the border with a few million "bouncing betty" anti-personnel landmines and the border will be secure.

Don't let Dane or Cultural Jihad catch you saying that! (and no, I will not ping them to the thread).

The truth is a bit hard to accept at times...especially when faced with the fact that our conservative Republican president, George W. Bush, is a total and complete failure when it comes to protecting our borders.

There ultimately is one truth. How we communicate that truth can vary immensly.
The link you posted, was a know nothing, non player who
lacks tact and or gravitas.
His name is recognized as that of being an internet loon.

Taking the path that you seem to be intent on taking will not win hearts or influence people.to your way of thinking.
You will in fact harden hearts and turn people away.
You been here long enough to know that the guy you linked and his followers have long ago, been run off or outright banned.
Because of his poor judgement and kneejerk approach to this and to other national problems.
He and his posters here, have lost their place at this table of discussion

Jim Robinson is very successful at picking his opportunity's and maximizing his resources.
Your guy on the otherhand, is long forgotten and to this day remains an unadulterated moron and unrepentant fool. Jim has decided and quite rightfully so, that he and
FreeRepublic are better off not associating with
every knucklehead on the internet that happens have a website.
Jim Robinson has spearheaded the movement of this forum to a place where we have a rightful seat at the table of national disscussion.

If you continue to post that persons opinion then I predict you will lose your voice at Jim's table. And wander amimlessly through the internet for the remainder of your digital days.

A word to the wise is sufficient.

My guy? He's no more "my guy" than he is yours. I just happened to post a link to his website. I post hundreds or even thousands of links to hundreds or even thousands of websites each year and in many different forums. None of them are "my guy".

If you don't like the link, tough. Get over it.

My guy? He's no more "my guy" than he is yours.

When you used him as a part of you unstated argument on this site,
you associated yourself with him.
You surreptitiously used his site to further
your argument, without posting the actual text

I just happened to post a link to his website.

Well no you didn't just happen to post a link to his site.
You chose to take the time,
to link to a specific page,
on his site, to validate
and bolster your anger and frustration at
President Bush's border's policy.

I post hundreds or even thousands of links to hundreds
or even thousands of websites each year
and in many different forums.

Which leads me to believe, that you
knew exactly what you were doing.
You intentionally hid the link in
the way you coded it. and by not disclosing his
name in your post.

If you don't like the link, tough.

I simnply cautioned you to think before you link.
It was a bit of friendly advice if you will.
Now I think you intentionally linked that
material in the manner in which you did, to
evade detection by JimRob or an Admin Moderator.

I will tell you again,
there is a reason that JimRob has
banned that guys stuff.

Get over it.
In a nut shell When you "just happen" to link to that moron,
you make the rest of us look bad.

If you are so sure of the rightness of your actions,
then I encourage you to post
the title,
the author
and first paragraph of the material in dispute.
to this thread Please ping me and/or JimRob
when you've done it and I can pretty much assure you,
an quick resolution to our discussion.
