Everyone who supports the enactment of rules revoking the right of convicted drug offenders to obtain financial aid while no rules exist to prevent violent criminals, or any other criminals, for that matter, from getting financial aid. Think about it - a guy who has been convicted of fraudulently obtaining a loan is eligible for a student loan. A guy who has been convicted of possession of an ounce of weed is not. Do you really think that is good public policy?
No, but the answer is to make the other rapists and frauds those convicted of violent crimes also ineligible, not to legalize drugs.
