There is a hideous left-wing book I was forced to read in college, called "Dog Soldiers". It was slightly enlightening, in that it describes how the 1960s left-wing movement was sold-out and ruined in the 70s by undisciplined youth and money-making drug dealers who couldn't live up to their own hippie ideals.
This dumb kid reminds me of that book.
The once-great institution of TU (that is for the aggies) has degenerated to a cesspool of liberalism and libertinism. This punk has no idea what this world is about. He is a spoiled, self-indulgent brat who has never come face to face with reality. This incident will not shake him from his tree. But it is clear that will be his destiny....to confront, one way or the other, bills, responsibility for a job, responsiblility for children. He is on the road to making the wrong choices, and thinks he is impressing anyone. He is the quintessential generation X Hippie. Get a job, Hippie.
He can intern for Professor Churchill in Colorado.
Why else is Austin known as "The Peoples Republic of Austin.
A town renowned for it's leftist leanings.
I am ASHAMED of my alma mater today!
For one, it seems like there is a definite lack of a maturity consideration in the admissions policy of this college.
Second, if this college doesnt dismiss this imbecile rather quickly, one doubts if any English Language majors would seriously consider spending their parents money there.
Third, I wish that Ms. Coulter could move to the right of her rather moderate positions, however, this avid fan hopes that Ms. Coulter continues to broadcast her message, regardless.
It was already well down that path when I graduated in 1979.
I've never met another heterosexual couple who even discussed such a thing.
You can't be serious.
I disagree. The student who set this up and picked Ann up at the airport said the protestors were in the minority and that the crowd cheered when the cops cuffed that idiot. I live in Austin and saw the video on the local news of the campus police putting him in the car, and there were maybe 15 to 20 protestors at most that followed the cops outside. Ann said on Hannity and Colmes last night when asked if this was the worst she had faced on any campus? "No this was one of the better ones".
