WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Clinton doesn't mention the "vast right-wing conspiracy" in her latest fund-raising letter, but warns "they" are still out to get her.
"We know one thing for sure, the Republicans and their right-wing allies are going to be hitting us hard with false charges," Clinton said in the letter released in recent days.
"Our first belief is that the best way to deal with this kind of stuff is to fight back hard and fast," said Clinton's political adviser Ann Lewis.
Clinton's letter appeared as GOP operative Arthur Finkelstein launched his long-anticipated "Stop Her Now" Web site yesterday, aiming to raise $10 million to defeat her.
Ex-President Bill Clinton slammed the openly gay Finkelstein last month for ignoring his own lifestyle and attacking Hillary because he's "blinded by self-loathing."
Even before Finkelstein's Web site popped up, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, state GOP and Conservative Party all labeled Clinton a target, in hopes of derailing a 2008 presidential bid. "It would be nice to stop her at the Senate level," the Conservative Party wrote.
Clinton's latest letter is part of her Web-based 2-4/7 fund-raising operation. She has also been busy making high-profile appearances around the country, raising cash and building political IOUs.
Even if a strong challenger doesn't emerge for her Senate reelection bid next year, sources say, Clinton may still need to raise the $30 million she got in her 2000 race. She raised $3.9 million in the first three months of this year.
Wasn't it Hillary who blamed Bush for Jung-Il's nukes just the other day?
More fodder to use against her in 2008.
There is a Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy opposing Table Legs and here ilk. I was at the meeting last night.
Yes she did. She has been spewing out a truckload of garbage lately. She needs to get a prescription for her verbal diaherria.
Of all the major nuclear national security leaks that occurred, about 16 of 17 (if my memory serves me correctly) occurred on BILL CLINTON'S "watch." 1 occurred under Reagan.
If Conus ever gets hit with a ChiCom bomb (nuk), we all have the Clintons, in part, to thank. Bill was their manchurian man.

Yup!! Precious, isnt it? The nukes North Korea now has are a direct result of the reactors slick Willie sold them, and she has the gaul to blame Bush. North Korea lies to us and to the world, and all Hillary can say is "Its time for one-on-one talks with the north", which by the way is EXACTLY what they want!! If we were ever stupid enough to do this, Kim would milk us for hundreds of billions of dollars and would still keep the nukes.
That is one of the important reason that can never win the Presidency, she is not Presidential material, she does not have it, period. Once she is under pressure she will just lose it, and if she thinks that she is under pressure now, wait until 2008 if she runs for President, this is just cake walk.
Madelain Albright made the same accusation on Hannity and Colmes, last night. She claimed that there was no possibility that the N. Korea was building nukes during the Clinton administration. It seems that the question was raised during a Tim Russet interview and Colmes gave Albright the opportunity to uncategoricly deny it. This is going to be a big issue for Hillary in 2008, so she is trying to bury it now.
Do I have to? YUCK!
Proud member of "the vast right wing conspiracy"...Hillary here's a dime..call someone who cares.
