Hil: Right wing on the attack (Hillary is playing the victim for 2006)

WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Clinton doesn't mention the "vast right-wing conspiracy" in her latest fund-raising letter, but warns "they" are still out to get her.

"We know one thing for sure, the Republicans and their right-wing allies are going to be hitting us hard with false charges," Clinton said in the letter released in recent days.

"Our first belief is that the best way to deal with this kind of stuff is to fight back hard and fast," said Clinton's political adviser Ann Lewis.

Clinton's letter appeared as GOP operative Arthur Finkelstein launched his long-anticipated "Stop Her Now" Web site yesterday, aiming to raise $10 million to defeat her.

Ex-President Bill Clinton slammed the openly gay Finkelstein last month for ignoring his own lifestyle and attacking Hillary because he's "blinded by self-loathing."

Even before Finkelstein's Web site popped up, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, state GOP and Conservative Party all labeled Clinton a target, in hopes of derailing a 2008 presidential bid. "It would be nice to stop her at the Senate level," the Conservative Party wrote.

Clinton's latest letter is part of her Web-based 2-4/7 fund-raising operation. She has also been busy making high-profile appearances around the country, raising cash and building political IOUs.

Even if a strong challenger doesn't emerge for her Senate reelection bid next year, sources say, Clinton may still need to raise the $30 million she got in her 2000 race. She raised $3.9 million in the first three months of this year.

Albright is clueless. She had no clue that they were developing a bomb, why should we believe her when she says they did not have one? She apparently even believed them when they launched the ICBM over Japan in 1998 and claimed that it wasn't an ICBM but rather that they were getting into the satellite business.

My guess is that Hillary got upset that Albright let the remark by Card stand, leaving the viewers with the assumption of fact. The Colmes interview was a set up, specificly designed to get that denial out there.

Yea, like you want to take away my doctor and choose one for me. Like you want to increase my health care premiums by $1200 or more per year. Like you want to put Mom's in combat. Like you want require doctors to give abortions and proscribe abortifacients (like RU-486) even if they feel it violates their Hippocratic oath.

Like you want murders and rapists to vote from prisons for you and the democrats.
