Thanks for being the Voice of Common Sense. (again)

I love South Park (and I would love to know how you managed to down-load your "Mhking South Park" character) but I certainly would not let my daughter watch that show and she is going to be 13 in a couple of weeks. I don't think it's a show for kids, but that doesn't mean anybody else shouldn't watch it if they like it!

(I suppose I should make her stop watching c-Span, too, huh?)

Anybody on FR who doesn't get that Laura Bush's routine was a put-up job and that her husband was in on it needs to get a life and as you say, get over it.

I could REALLY do with a little less of the self-righteous pomposity that has been happening on Free Republic since the election.

Free Republic is supposed to be fun, at least occasionally.

Sure we do activism and talk about serious stuff, and celebrate our victories, and console one another over tragedies.

However, *I* think we have lost some of the sparkle we once had.
