Do a Google NewsSearch on Reggie and you'll see nothing since the 4/21/2005 breaking news.

This will be deep-sixed like every-other Dem scandal by their partner in the socialist revolution... the MSM.

Coming up. For those who miss it, Tony has a replay on many stations later in the day, some of which will probably stream it. In San Diego, I think he is on 760 at about 10pm.

Some of you think Tony is too nice to our adversaries.

You can't get them on your show if you rip them apart all the time

My local Radio guy, Dom G. (1210am The Big Talker) is like Tony

I don't always want to hear just one side of the story .. plus I learn many interesting things when the opposite side of the argument comes on to talk :0)

ATTN JULIAN BOND: June 6, 2001 --- KKK Byrd Is 3 Heartbeats from the Presidency
USA TODAY STORY archives | 12-16-02 | dfu

Posted on 12/16/2002 11:20:48 PM PST by doug from upland

FROM USA TODAY -- 6/6/01

By voice vote, the Senate then elected Sen. Robert Byrd, D-W.Va., the senior Senate Democrat, as president pro tempore, replacing Sen. Strom Thurmond, R-S.C. That is a constitutional and mostly ceremonial post that is also third in line of succession to the presidency.

=================================

Note to Julian Bond: On this day, Mr. Bond, a former member of the KKK became the President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate. Ahead of him in our country's leadership were President George W. Bush, Vice-President Richard Cheney, and Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.

Bond was being interviewed by Wolfie Blitzer and made a fool of himself. He defended racist and outrageous statments by Jesse Jackson, saying there was no comparison to Trent Lott. NAACP Chairman Bond, who teaches American History at the University of Virginia, claimed that what Lott said was far more egregious than Jackson because Lott was only 3 heartbeats from the presidency.

Apparently this college history professor should not be in the history department of the University of Virginia. In 8th grade, we learn about the line of succession. Trent Lott, incoming majority leader, is not in the line of succession. KKK Byrd, however, as pointed out to Bond by Arlen Specter, is in the line of succession.

Julian Bond, are you a liar or are you just stupid? Why didn't it bother you that for a year and a half a former KKK member was 3 heartbeats from the presidency?

What a fool.

Paul starts out by saying he's an Independent, can't be painted with the VRWC brush, he helped get Hillary elected.

Paul was number 1 contributor to Hillary in 2000. Has started hillcap.com.

Peter is an independent so can't be painted with right wing brush. He is most responsible for getting Hillary elected.

Doug is giving a recap about the fundraiser in Hollywood.

Says HIll needed hard dollars due to FEC election rules applying to needing to use hard dollars for advertising etc. She had raised too much soft money.

She cooked up a hybrid committee, blending hard and soft money, but they had to finally make a reconciliation saying how much the event cost and how much it made.

Going to break, I hope I've transcribed this accurately. Tony says Bill clinton also plays a role in this and it will come up when they come back after commercial.

Had public company in L.A. with Stan Lee. To build company globally, wanted to hire ex-president to help in Japan, Europe, and S. America. Ed Rendell became "best friend." Peter has it all on video. Peter says he has the Rodney King video of politics when this comes out.

To develop relationship with Clinton after White House, he should donate to Hillary. Did June 2000 small fundraiser for her. Spent two hours with a dozen friends and Hillary at Spago. That they to a 300-person Hollywood get together -- June 9, 2000.

Then they said that that wanted a big fundraiser before the convention. Was induced to produce and underwrite biggest fundraiser. A combo farewell to Bill and money raiser for her. Largest non-public concert ever. He pulled a lot of favors. Hollywood responded. PEOPLE and US magazines and other national media reported. It looked like all Hollywood supported her.

Critical hard dollars raised. Began to unravel....she needed hard dollars...

Peter explaining hard vs. soft money.....hard money directly to person's campaign....

She thought she'd be cute --- hyrbid of hard and soft money component to try to fudge....that is what she used....problem -- they had to reconcile how much was raised and the cost........no more than 40% of the receipts (then my phone rang and I missed it)

Please give your recap, too. I'm listening to Ingraham in the background, FReeping, listening to Tony, and people actually think they can make calls to me at this hour. HELP!

Tony gives hillcap.org address.

Tony says significance of what's been laid out so far is that HIllary's campaign would have gone broke if she hadn't broken the law. Peter Paul says this is correct.

Peter Paul will be up again in the next hour to give more details.

Good clarification here of hard money vs. "soft money" and FEC restrictions on campaign monies.

Now mentioned: a "hybrid" arrangement to commingle (my term) the types of funds (to basically skirt the rules).

Breaking commercial, Tony says when they return they will dig into how this is important...Is it IRONIC or what that the commercial is for a TEDDY BEAR company? LOL

Great to hear Tony is keeping him on. You've got the good stuff. On streaming, I'm still hearing Tony plugging products to pay the bills. Wow, I just learned about joint pain relief!
