If the plan is upheld in court, then perhaps we can see the return of Bob Barr and Max Burns. With Dr Gringery's GA-11 more secure for the GOP, Bob Barr may attempt to oust him like he tried to do to John Linder in 2002. Barr just can't stay out of the limelight.

If Barr ran against Gingrey, he will not do much better than he did against Linder. He's burned a lot of bridges in the district, and Gingrey is extremely popular among Republicans.
If the plan is upheld, I am certain that Max Burns will run in the new 12th CD and that he will probably win (even though I believe that the district still has a high black percentage). More interesting will be (i) whether Mac Collins will run in either the 3rd or the 8th CD, and (ii) whether Dylan Glenn will run in either the 3rd or the 2nd CD.
