Why would you think she is so fragile. Kids are a lot tougher than you think. Some kids don't have any parents at all. You don't see them jumping off bridges.

I can point you to a building with thirty or so of those kids right now.
Some folks are born with the constitution of Joan Crawford in "Mildred Pierce"....others ain't.
