I've witnessed this bias firsthand, I have my own website with sci-fi wallpaper that describes the weaponry of space battleships. Google's adsense ads get all squishy when I put an adsense banner on this page. I get ads like "tsunami relief" and "students creating peace" and "world peace". I want ads related to Battleship Arizona on this page, not a bunch stinking hippy crap. Anyway, here's the link to that page:

Space Battleships and their weaponry

I'll keep it like this for a couple of days, but I'll change it to get a better quality ad. The thing is, boycotting Google is not an option for me, it's a major traffic generator to my site and their hippy-crap affects my business.

That's ok, I use www.profusion.com for my search engine! I find that I get much better & faster results than google.

Great search engine... but its liberal bias sucks.

I use Google all the time for research in my work. It's the best thing out there. But I ignore the ads. That isn't just because of any liberal bias in the ads, but to remain sane and to avoid wasting time. Everyone else should do the same.

Of course, if you're trying to advertise with Google, you have a bigger issue.

Try googling "Honorary Serb", or another Freeper who is more your favorite than am I. You'll get a lot of good hits. They can't censor us totally without compromising the quality of their search engine, which they do not want to do for obvious reasons.

Why can't FreeRepublic establish a web search site -- with all the dollars it will bring. The Freepers have the expertise!

Just as there could be googling the net, there could also be freep for creeps on the net.

Here's a question... Why are so many of the highly visible companies liberal and doing so well? Microsoft, Google, Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's, Costco, etc... And if Republicans are so smart, how come so many Rats are wealthy (ie: in senate) Just perplexing to me - it would seem that all who are involved in business would understand economics and the burden that taxes have on our freedoms and economies.
