Back in post 20 you quoted Liberman as saying, "The idea was to give pride to the 6.8 million documented Hispanic immigrants living in the Los Angeles area: to say this is your home; be proud."

I wonder where he got that figure? I'm having trouble believing that there are actually 6.8 million legal hispanic immigrants in this state, let alone just the L.A. area.
