It is a liberal myth, created by UGA professor Susan Brownmiller, that sex crimes are about "power". When you remove the gonads of goats, pigs, roosters, sheep, horses, dogs and men, they become more docile than the female. If you accept the premise that roid rage is caused by excessive male hormones, why not accept the premise that a lack of male hormones can increase passivity?
Castration has been used in Denmark and Germany and can reduce recidivism from 80% to less than 3%. Castrated men do not have the testosterone to drive the brain to think about sex or act upon sexual urges.

I'd rather err on the side of caution than Danish or German stats. I have no problem with castration. Castrate 'em. Just don't let them back out. Then we know we're safe.

It is a liberal myth, created by UGA professor Susan Brownmiller, that sex crimes are about "power"It's not entirely myth, and it's not that simple. Violent rape is the prduct of a deviant sex drive in which sex, violence and domination are inseparable. Your basic pont is dead on: Take away the sex drive, and you take away the motivation for the crime.
