I agree. If she is capable of having the child she should IMO. However am I the only one to wonder if she is physically capable of carrying a child to term? Thirteen is very young. Some thirteen year olds might, with some difficulty, while for others it could be dangerous.
I guess since no one else has even brought it up she must be very mature for her age.

Actually girls are maturing at about 11 or 12 these days. 9 or 10 is not abnormal. 13 is old.
Scary, huh?
The risks to the child and mother do of course increase at such a young age. Prematurity is a risk and drug use is indicated in some of the articles.
Tragic.
