I was considering that. The individual in question had only one previous post on FR. And if I were that seriously wounded, the last thing I would think of doing was posting an email message to an internet forum on which I haven't really participated.
And that he'd be able to email out that soon is also strange in the fact that, if he wrote or dictated the message right before losing consciousness, then the injury has just occurred and his family has not yet been called. That doesn't sound like something that would be allowed to happen. Whenever a serious injury or death occurred in Sgt. AQGeiger's battalion, all email and phones where made inaccessible until the family was notified.
I hope I'm wrong, but I'm thinking this is a hoax. On the one thread, the soldier is posting himself, and thanking God for wireless, on this one, he has dictated his message -- pretty much the selfsame message -- prior to "losing consciousness." Something's amiss here.
