Sleep well then.
I find it illustrative that you have posted many posts to this thread, and have yet to actually say one clear thing about what it is you find wrong with the Patriot Act.
Just one.

Expansion of the Government's legal power to violate the privacy rights of American citizens without proper due process, accountability and sanctions against those government officials who ahuse their unlimited powers under the so-called "Patriot Acct."
The entire contents of this hastily passed, legal power grab by the Executive Branch is available for reading at several other websites. I will NOT debate the specifics of my objections with you and I will not take any bait to do so. Suffice it to say, I do share fmr. Congressman Barr's objections, as well as those of both true conservatives and even some liberals in the House.
Just contemplate how the "Homeland Security" and Justice Dept. appointees of a future Hillary Clinton presidency will use this "Patriot Act" to violate the constitutional rights and civil liberties of conservatives, gun owners, etc., once they take over the White House in 2008. Enuff said.

"The entire contents of this hastily passed, legal power grab by the Executive Branch..."
Whoops, this is corrected to instead read:
The entire contents of this hastily passed, power grab of legal authority by the Executive Branch..."
