Oh well, I didn't know she has an affair with a married man and had canceled other weddings. If I had known these things I would have thought differently.

I don't think they were living together. It was said last night on Hannity that she had started to move things in and she did stay the night every now and than, but that they had not had sex yet. However, whether or not that is true is another thing.

Heck, 600-invite weddings with 14 bridesmaids is probably the AVERAGE of every wedding I've ever been to in my life.

This sounds just plain nuts -- you could put a down payment on a house with that kind of money.

I had a great-great-great grandmother who arrived back home by horseback on the night of her wedding. Her mother had neglected to explain to her the scope of her wifely responsibilities and she was astounded by what her new husband was suggesting.

Could that happen in 2005? I don't think so.

The girl had EIGHT wedding showers! I know what gets discussed at those showers.

LOL, one of my dear friends mother was a virgin on her wedding night and no one ever explained to her anything about sex, and she had no clue what it was. My friend told me that on her mom's wedding night that when her father tried to get it on her mom flipped out and felt violated. It actually took some time for her to understand and years later her mom and dad are still married with 3 children and several grandchildren.

I had wedding showers and been to many, and sex wasn't a big topic, however if Jennifer has a lengerie shower that yes it was talked about or maybe joked about. I'm not saying she didn't know what sex was. I'm saying if she was a virgin which is always possible, that maybe she just got frightened of the idea of having sex. But if she has been in many other relationship, and one with a married man I'm sure she is no virgin.

You're right. People get frightened by all sorts of things. Transitions can be difficult. Sex is one thing, a name change might be another. The excitement of a new credit card with a hubby to pay the bills - now that's not to be feared.

I'm certainly not sympathizing with the crazy woman and her nutty boyfriend and I agree that she should pay a price for deceiving him and her family as well as the police.

My main objection is the endless rehashing of this tawdry event, because I think it puts her right where she wanted to be: in the spotlight.

Six months from now we'll be kicking ourselves for wasting time on this POS. Will you watch the made for TV movie? I think you will.

"I guess we'll start minding our own business when we no longer have to have nation wide police searches for people who claim they were abducted and rig up things to make it look like they were."

I don't think you can say she rigged things up to make it look like she was abducted. Contrary to what some hacks have written this was hardly an "elaborate hoax". It was the assumption of her family, understandable, but still an assumption, that she'd disappeared involuntarily. Remember, even at the first the cops were saying it could be "cold feet". After the fact she did claim to have been abducted, but it seems like she stuck to that story for all of about 5 minutes.

The dame is flaky, but there is no reason to think that she was attempting to direct the national spotlight on herself, certainly not at the time of her disappearance.

She'd have to be smarter than she looks. She looks like she's not capable of tying her own shoes.

You know, a lot of people are down on this guy for taking old googly eyes back, but I have a theory. After she pulled this stunt, he can pretty much get away with anything.

Crazy Broad "Honey, why are you in the hot tub with a busty brunette?"

Hubby, "Well, I'm not leaving you at the alter that's for sure! Now go and get me beer."

"Weddings are terrible stresses on people," he said. "They really try people's relationships, especially when they're one of these big productions."

How much do you suppose it tries the relationships between prospective brides, and parents and fiance when they're terrified that she may have been murdered?

Wait until her water breaks with her first pregnancy, and the labor pains begin.

I'd like to see her run from that.
