Had I been at John's Tuesday night - thus giving him a rock solid alibi and immediatley discounting this as another "Scott Peterson" case, would it have generated this much attention? no way.
This was a media creation, sparked by a mistake no doubt, but there are thousands of women who leave for unknown reasons. They are not vilified like this.
