Now, THAT is what bothered me about Jennifer. During her "perp walk" she covered her head, and that is why I believe she is ill. Totally unacceptable, not to mention terribly rude behavior.
Perhaps her mama never gave her "the lecture". I fear that she may spend the rest of her life in the attic, in her cane bottomed rocker, stroking her kitty. A shadowy creature who will used as an example of what can happen if manners are not minded.
Then again, with all the drama and tragedy she has endured (and caused), I can see her becoming the "Belle of Atlanta" and enduring countless teas, luncheons, weddings, funerals, cucumber dainties, coconut cakes, and chicken salads (made with Duke's Mayonnaise, of course).
I'm not sure which future would be worse.
You have it, she is at a crossroads and the blankie over the head was understandable and probably indicates that she is not the cold person people think she is.
