Something smells in Denmark here and it ain't just the cooking! (there are now 2,273 news stories on Google search for 'runaway bride' as far away as UK, New Zealand)

I believe it, I really do. And I think that is part of the problem , that and the flatware problem.

I do. You can spend the night with a woman without having sex. You could spend years with a woman without having sex.

Maybe it is a little surprising to hear it happen BEFORE the wedding, but it is possible.

(THAT WAS A JOKE)

Seriously, sex is not the be-all and end-all of a loving relationship, notwithstanding what you see on TV all the time. I am frankly sick and tired of the protestations about how impossible it is for people to NOT have sex. "Oh, we can't expect priests to be celibate", "Oh, we can't expect our kids to be celibate", "Oh, we can't expect that people in love would be celibate".

We can. People do remain celibate. People who are true to their faith. I know for a fact. People who are in love can "sleep" with a woman without having sex with the woman.

It certainly is odd to live together while in love and planning a wedding, but while it is more temptation than I would recommend putting people through, it is certainly believable. Some people put their faith above their pleasures.

Living together can be practical. People do it all the time, even sometimes people of opposite sex.

We are all way to judgmental of people who have faith, who have love, who have charity. So seriously, and I'm talking to some of you older people because I frankly am this close to giving up on the younger generation. I've been married for 22 years. How many of you would up and leave your wife because she did something like this? Does nobody hear in this man the sound of a person who truly is devoted to someone else, who is willing to give his life, his love, his all to her?

Are we so jaded that we have to spit on him?
