They have indentured slaves there at MSNBC? She could have said I will not work with IMUS and pulled out tapes where he has denegrated others for fun as reason why. She chose TV face time despite IMUS's known reputation.

Imus has made millions being controversial....and talking like an idiot...most of the time I kind of like him because he, like me, don't give a rats a$$ about being politically correct..that being said; he is obviously no mental giant.

Imus used to be funny, but he takes himself much too seriously, now. His entire program is nothing but "Me, Me, Me.
That and his fawning over the likes of Chris Dodd, Joe Biden, and every liberal "journalist" he can get on the phone, is the cause of his ratings drop. It will please me when he is just a fast-fading memory
That being said, Contessa Brewer is a F-O-X; much prettier than the vegan freak Imus got stuck with.
Imus is just making a hollow gesture here and to prove it, he can't even come up with more than: "she's fat" as a rejoinder to a young woman's criticism of his less-than-charming personality. Woooo. As if she expected Don Imus to be an off-mike Mister Rogers? Not likely.
I don't think he cares much anymore what anyone says about him, as long as they know he's still breathing and hasn't passed on to that big studio in the sky or, wherever AM radio morning show hosts that spent their career cultivating a bad-boy image that the public bought, hook, line and sinker, end up post-Judgement.
I think these media people get into this name-calling nonsense; first, for the free publicity, of course, and then for our amusement, knowing their calculated foolishness will make ours look far less stupid, at least by our own comparison.
If I said that about someone I worked with or someone who worked for my company, I would be fired on the spot.

OK, so assume some of us live in caves and don't listen to Imus.....nor watch MSNBC. What the hell is this about? Even the linked story is scant on details.
Maybe she is all of those things and more. I love mean spiritedness, I just wish our Republican MAJORITY would start using that tactic.

I have always wondered exactly what her appeal was supposed to be. She comes across dumb as the proverbial post, and she hardly fits the "FOX Babe" mold.
