On marriage yes he is as strong as any Conservative GOPer in the House; but on life he is prochoice until the first couple of weeks of pregnancy after which his prolife.
Basically he's a little squishy on life but otherwise he's strong.
No way he'll get my vote.
I was never aware of George llen being pro-choice in any respect -- except maybe the life of the mother, rape, and incest, which most policians support because explaining the inconsistency of the position to the electorate is impossible, and politically impractical.
I am not saying you are wrong, but I'd like to see the source on those views.
