That is exactly the point I was going to make. Im just a few years older than you, so maybe we can relate.

I grew up in Houston and everyone we knew had a vegtable garden in their backyard. We had beans, corn, tomatos, cucumbers, okra - all that you can imagine. There was also a farmer's market where people would go on the weekends and sell what surplus they had.

You don't see much of this anymore. Most of today's young people think vegtables come from the grocery store.

You tell some of these college kids that they can make $100 a day picking veggies or fruit and they will go to work.Problem is the slave traders will not tolerate that.
