Why?
Who gives a damn what they think? As our resident FOQNA loons, we already know what they feel since they can't reason or employ logic.

John and Ken have great about keeping the news of this invasion on the front burner here in southern California. The open borders crowd hates them.

What? Surely you are delusional or just a fibber. There are a few who post here who think every illegal should be given some kind of award.

Did you catch the comedian, an American of Mexican descent (I hate hyphenated American descriptors), on Dennis Miller last Friday night.
Dennis asked him what he thought of the billboard and what he said almost made me fall of the couch laughing....paraphrasing here;
"...if California was part of Mexico it wouldn't look like it does (read = 1st world), but would be filled with pot-holed dirt roads, men walking down the street with donkeys with painted on black stripes carrying a sign that said "sign the zebra".....and his father (the comedian's) telling the family to pack up in order to move further north to get away from this mess...."
Even through a joke this comedian spoke so many truths. I wish I could remember this guys name.

It does make for interesting discussion...
To be intellectually honest the Lincoln-haters would have to support La Raza and Azatlan should their views become the will of the state(s) involved.
It's just a matter of time before California elects a Hispanic Governor, legislative majority, etc. If and when they declare their independence, or mexican annexation I wonder what Washington's reaction will be...
I'd give a million bucks to be a cell in the brain for a CSA / Jefferson Davis apologist when they find out California, Arizona and New Mexico have decided to secede and become the MSA.

My head hurts just thinking about it.
It would be an interesting discussion - I will have to just waive the white flag for now, on these boards. :)

I lurked for about 5-6 months before I signed onto this board, which was in October, 1999. The following month I actively participated in the Veteran's Day threads on 11/11, and on 11/19 I posted an anniversary thread for the Gettysburg Address.
It was like lighting a cigarette at the gas pump.

Er... I'm Hispanic. Does that when when I'm elected Governor that I'm going to try to hand the state over to Mexico?

many people on this forum fail to differentiate between illegals and americans of mexican descent. the latter may be more "american" than many americans due to their family values.

"Does that when when I'm elected Governor that I'm going to try to hand the state over to Mexico?" Based on your profile page being the best info I have, I'd have to say "no." Now will you answer a question of mine?
Do you honestly think that right now, the majority of Hispanic voters in California (legal and otherwise) would vote for you?

Do you honestly think that right now, the majority of Hispanic voters in California (legal and otherwise) would vote for you? Nope. But I think I could manage a good 35%, maybe 40%. But I'd have the white folks who compromise 65-70% of the voting electorate, last I read.
