Thanks for the list of comments on the rude and crass remark.

perhaps I would be more sympathetic to those criticizing the First Lady if even one of the comments protesting the "whore" comment would have come from their side of this issue.

First, I disagree with any notion that the FL is a "w****". Let that be said.

But, as for wideawake, saying nothing does not mean agreement. And.. I do believe wideawake has since expressed that sentiment.

I believe MOST of the expressions of dismay with the FL's comments were by people who were sincere and NOT anti-bush. I know I certainly am not.

Why does everything have to be a litmus issue? Can't people just disagree with the President or FL without being against them?
