I agree that parts of it were extremely funny. And she ended it very well, as you say. But I was very disturbed by the Chippendales remark. I think that women who go see them are a blight on society. I know that it was a joke, but I don't things are funny when they are symptomatic of underlying societal problems.
Lighten up. Now I know where the stereotype of the Rep,uptight bluenose comes from.
Yep, I remember, when I was a younger, thinking "Conservative" and seeing in my head the two missionaries from the movie "Hawaii", who hated humor, hated happiness, hated sex and basically, hated themselves.
Sorta like misery on the hoof. :)
