I stand corrected. I was using the term in the Northern/Western/metro Atlanta/South Florida sense of being upper income people who are generally conservative on economic issues but moderate to liberal on social ones. It is a well established fact that Fortune 500 type contributions tend to be evenly split between the two parties. Further, these corporate contributions tend to favor liberal oriented groups like the League of Women Voters and Planned Parenthood over conservative oriented groups by a 3:1 margin.
