Ah, my anal nit-picker friend. I'm wasting more time on this than it deserves. The element of degree matters. That's why there is a different sentence given for stealing a million dollars versus stealing five dollars. Even mentioning Whoopi Goldberg in the same sentence with Laura Bush is utterly ridiculous. Laura's remarks were fairly tame. The liberals are trying to find any wedge issue they can and you fell into the trap.
OOPS--don't mean you, Howlin--I KNOW you have a great sense of humor and just got too clever by half with the "flame" theme!!
Exactly the sentiment I've been trying to express.

Besides, I guess my mind isn't dirty enough. When I read this joke, I imagined W. taking the gelding to a barn, tying the reins, squatting down on a milking stool, reaching up, and saying, "Whoops! Sorry, there bud!"
I see the usual suspects have shown up to bash Christians. While I did watch the show and laughed out loud, I must say that if Hillary or any Dem. wife of the Pres., had said some of the things Laura said, many of us would be saying things like, "typical Dem. behavior, trashy, etc...". Even some of the usual suspects who like to bash Christians.
I have no problem with people disagreeing about the show. Some will like it, (I know Hollywood loved it!!), some won't like it. But I get so sick and tired of the Christian bashing.
