the only car I ever drove that would chirp the tires between 1st and 2nd -- and it was an AUTOMATIC!
Our family had a '66 Mustang auto that would do the same. And, if conditions were just right and no one was looking, from 2nd to 3rd on rare occasions.
I doubt if Mom knew it would do that. . . but I did!
