Friendswood Texas freepers have the chance to remove 2 tax and spend council people on May 7, 2005. Chris Peden and John LeCour support the 3% annual appraisal cap. Vote against the increased sales tax for "economic development" - the guys in office can't efficiently manage the money they take in now. Why should we give them more?
In Pasadena we are having a mayors race. The sitting mayor John Manlove ( yes that is his name, and how would you like to have that last name in junior high) is running tv commercials saying he held the line on new taxes. We who live in the state of Taxes (yes I now spell TX Taxes)know that is a lie. He held the line on the tax rate but the appraisals have been going up and up and up. Either he is lying or he is stupid, either way he is not getting my vote.
