Not to be hateful or mean spirited, but this little strumpet needs to get everything the law can give her. 600 guests left high and dry, the police and volunteers doing the search. This is terrible that a brat of a woman, not a girl at 32, would try an pull this juvenile act.

The media will make a heroine of her. Look for more of her type to crop up in the future.

So no one should ever be allowed to call off a wedding after the invitations have been sent?

If she staged her own kidnapping (in GA, before she called 9-11 from Abq) only then should she be charged.

It's not illegal to just "disappear."

I wonder if she wanted the attention, she had to know it would draw in the media. There are some people who do strange things simply because they want their 15 minutes of so called fame.

That's rather harsh. I can't imagine that you know enough to make such a judgement. I'm waiting to learn more, but I expect that ultimately charges won't be filed, and a wedding will take place. The prospective husband may want to have a re-think, though.

I thought the same; think about all the man hours spent on searching for her and all the overtime paid out. Taxpayers have to pay for that. Not to mention the police and other people are not doing things that require importance, e.g. following up on leads on REAL crimes. I think this lady may be unstable and I hope Mr. Fiancee takes a second look at his bride-to-be. If this isn't an omen, I don't know what may be.

Well, she's not the first thirtysomething idiot. Look at what THIS one did at 34:

Talk about somebody who should be behind bars!

Agreed, on behalf of the police and taxpayers who supported the search and rescue effort while authentic needs were probably shoved to the sideline.
