They still are about 94% OF THE TOTAL AIDS CASES, nothing has really changed.
I used to live in the French Quarter in New Orleans in the '70's and I worked and lived in downtown Seattle in the '80's. Both places had large populations of black gay males & transvestite prostitutes.
And if some segment of the black community tried to take responsibility and lower its AIDS rates, it/they would probably be accused of "acting white."
