"When he was arrested, Herrera had a valid California driver's license with a San Francisco address, but apparently had been living in Spring Valley, Delo said. Clarkstown police said they were in contact with California authorities about Herrera's background.
Herrera is a native of Guatemala. Police did not know how long he had been in the United States or his immigration status. He apparently had used more than one name."
