Well, the boy just ain't right hisself.

Look at this from AJC:

The darkness in front of Mason's bungalow had been replaced with the glare of television cameras. Reporters clamored for interviews.

"Is this 'Good Morning America'?" he asked as techs wired him with a microphone. "That's kind of cool."

Agents in an unmarked car got out and walked toward the house. "That's the FBI," Mason said, pointing. "Hey man, y'all know anything else?"

They didn't answer.

"I feel like Tiger Woods," he joked as he waited to go live.

Friends and relatives darted back and forth across the yard embracing each other. Someone had used a marker to add the word "not" in front of "missing" on a large yard sign with Wilbanks' picture.

In front of the cameras, Mason rejected the suggestion that his fiancée could have made up the kidnapping.

"I never thought she got cold feet," he said. "She put too much into this to leave four days before."

At the Fox News tent, Mason turned into a groupie. "When's [Sean] Hannity going to come down to see me?" he asked before gushing when a producer told him soon. "Oh man, that'd be awesome."

Borrowing a Line from the former Senator Lloyd Bentsen:

John, I know Tiger Woods, Tiger Woods is a good friend of mine. John, you are no Tiger Woods.

Hmmmm, maybe they both orchestrated the whole thing in the hope of getting $$$ for selling the movie rights.

Thanks for posting this tidbit from the AJC. First time I've heard or read this. My, both Mason and Wilbanks must have incredibly large egos. Both must be saying, "It's all about me".

You are right. He is more than a half bob off plum.

Okay, he's certifiably insane, too. Lock 'em both up.

After reading that AJC story, I'm convinced they are made for each other. Story also said that Jennifer decided to go to Albuquerque with a couple that she had befriended. Wonder if that is true and if LE have talked to them.

Hope District Attorney gives her some sort of punishment for her gross misdeeds. Fine if family wants to forgive her, but she deserves more than a fine that her parents will no doubt pay for her.

LOL...I noticed that. Those two are two peas in a pod. He has a very good sense of humor and uses it under pressure. I think she was buckling under the big wedding pressure, he was cracking jokes, and the fight or flight syndrom kicked in. If this was a movie, it would be a comedy. Thank God she is safe. They will work it out one way or the other. I think they will live happily ever after. However, she should have not put that towel over her head. She should have walked out with her chin up to go home.
