Always thought of Mrs. G. H. W. Bush (Barbara) as the First Grandmother as that's the way she came across to me. Mrs. G. W. Bush comes across as "THE FIRST LADY" in every sense of the word.
Both seemed to embody the finest attributes of true Southern Womanhood through their gentility.
I guess you are right. I admired Barbara Bush for her love and loyalty to her family. I also admired her for her love of children. Laura Bush has the same characteristics, although she is much younger. A couple of years older than I am which makes me very happy that all of you guys think she is gorgeous. There is hope for us 50 plus women after all. LOL!
