Are you crazy? Lt. Calley was sentenced to life but was paroled after serving three years under house arrest. Do you think she will serve more time than him? 11 years being light. Give me a break.

My mental health seemed fine last time I looked.

Let's break down some of the charges

Article 81—Conspiracy

Maximum punishment. Any person subject to the code who is found guilty of conspiracy shall be subject to the maximum punishment authorized for the offense which is the object of the conspiracy (my comment ---- see article 90 and 134)

Article 93—Cruelty and maltreatment

Maximum punishment Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 1 year.  (She got 4 specifications of this charge)

Article 90 ---  Assaulting or willfully disobeying a superior officer  (recall that this was a charge related to her relationship with Specialist Charles Graner  (who by the way got ten years)

Penalties:(2) Willfully disobeying a lawful order of superior commissioned officer. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 5 years.

                 (3) In time of war. Death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct.

Article 134—(Assault—indecent)

Maximum punishment. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 5 years.
