I like all manner of revolvers and pistols myself. I have that Ruger .357 because it was an affordable option for a single mom. heh. Now that the kids are both grown I am looking forward to being able to treat myself to some new "kick@$$ery."
Far as my torture thoughts go, that comes from the single-mom mentality too. In need, shoot and kill... the rest will be sorted out later.
But gees those type need the torture, and you're right, they're gonna get it eternally.

I'm too much of a softie to inflict torture. What I would do is beat the slime out of their sorry carcasses. When they are sprawled on the ground, writhing in pain, I would stop.
