If the federal Liberals drop below 30% and get drubbed in their GTA ridings, my apologies. It would take an act of God to reduce the Liberals to the status of the late Progressive Conservatives in 1993. I'd love it if they were reduced to a mere 2 seats in the House Of Commons. The problem is as far as fantasies go, its way off the scale.

If so, I'm disgusted at my fellow Canadians.

That's not true, the liberals are also ahead of the CPC in Ontario and in Atlantic Canada.

If the Liberals get back in, I bet Quebec separates.

The Liberals will wait out this scandal, and the fawning media will help.

Eventually, the voters will forgive and forget.

I hope my prediction is wrong.

That is not the original title of the piece you posted and linked to. Please use original titles and leave the commentary for your posts.

Other than that, it is a pretty sad commentary on Canadians. I can't believe this country is so freaking wishy-washy and buying all this BS about the Conservatives have a hidden agenda and would impose "US style" health care in this country (while conveniently forgetting the current system is breaking down, mostly due to the huge cuts in funding by the federal Liberals - apparently the average person is incapable of remembering anything that happened more than a week ago). They seem to prefer a dysfunctional status-quo over any kind of change. Bunch of gutless wonders (Canadian voters, I mean). How bad do things have to get in this country before Canadians will take a bit of a chance and kick these bums out and put the only reasonable alternative in power? I have some doubts, too, about some of the things that the CPC might do, but the Liberals need to be kicked to the curb.

Not true.

The Bloc Quebecois are WAY ahead of the Fiberals in Quebec.

The Liberal support is concentrated in urban Ontario (primarily the Greater Toronto Area) and Atlantic Canada.

"The Bloc Quebecois are WAY ahead of the Fiberals in Quebec. "

The Liberals have spent enumerable hours telling the people of Quebec that they are valueless. When they say that any cooperation with the PQ is working with the separatists what they are saying is what Quebecers want is of no importance to the Liberal Party and the rest of Canada should be insulted by asking their opinion. Even I find that offensive.
