Homeschooling is great. If we promote it, maybe we can increase from, say, 2% to 5% the number of kids who homeschool. But still, in the near future, the overwhelming majority of kids will be in the public schools. We need to be vigilant to do what we can to limit the harm. I live in a red state and there is a lot less of that garbage here than in Mass. Kudos to the father in the article for doing what he could to protect his kid.

Which red state? And are you in an urban or rural area?

We're set to move in a year and I'm having a tough time determining a destination. I won't live in another Marxist city like Seattle ever again.
