You're absolutely right. But those are their talking points, and they're sticking to the script.
Talk radio in Boston is doing this again today, with the father on WRKO. One good part, though, was earlier, when they had the school superintendent on (and asked about the recent "day of silence," which was observed by the Lexington Schools). He was claiming he's not really the superintendent because he retired in 2003 and he's just an interim "acting" superintendent, so he can't be expected to know what's going on or to do anything about it.

He really said that? Not that I doubt you - it's' just that it is so totally mindboggling .........is he that arrogant or just plain stupid?
