Well... not YET, but a step towards it has been made. They still have to actually carry out the sentence. When was the last time the US military carried out a death sentence?

My dad is a Screaming Eagle (and he sends regards to your son) who joind them at the beginning (and he jumped at Normandy)--all he said when he heard the sentence was "OUTSTANDING!" He actually called me from England (60th anniv of Germany surrender reuninion with some of his old buddies) to tell me that....
