I expect the federal Liberals to play the "anti-American" card in Ontario. If you're desperate, its all President Bush's fault.

Probably, but we conservatives won't be playing the pro-American card.( as much as we'd like to -it just won't play in Toronto.)

The new thing seems to be " Not the American way, but a better Canadian way."....We love you folks, but some Canadians (read Toronto) can't handle being the little guy, so we have to pander to those losers to get the Toronto ridings.

THEN, we can can repair the US-Canada relationship. :-)

This poll is encouraging, but as you said, doesn't reflect the Liberals' last-minute scare the public campaign, equating the Conservatives with those evil Americans.

"I expect the federal Liberals to play the "anti-American" card in Ontario. If you're desperate, its all President Bush's fault."

Ever so slightly more nuanced: "The CPC - and Stephen Harper personally - are slavishly pro-American thus confirming their 'extremism' and innate evil".
