"Placing one of his comments in perspective, please consider how we would view a candidate from another country who suggested that the top 10 stories of one of our public buildings could be lost without any adverse consequences."
Okay. He was saying that the UN is a huge bureaucracy in which most employees are drones, and that if their jobs were eliminated no adverse consequence would ensue. And he was right.
Clear enough?
"in a world where moderation is a value"
What world would that be, Planet Commie Nutbar?
I presume that by "value" you meant to say "virtue," meaning a trait that has intrinsic value. I would remind you of the words of the great AuH20, who noted that "Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue."
Moderation is morally neutral, like a screwdriver or a .50 caliber sniper rifle. It can be put to good uses or evil uses.
In America to day, the concept of "moderation" and its coven-mate "extremism" are merely deceptive buzzwords used by the left to con its enemies into pulling their punches, while the left itself blithely pursues extreme tactics.

That "Moderate" in his screen name did it for me....a dead give away right there. Thanks for cleaning up the aisle so quickly.
To: ModerateVoter; sauropod
but in a world where moderation is a valueWhat world is that?
Oh, wait. Did you perhaps mean to say "virtue"? Moderation isn't one of those, either.
To: ModerateVoter
I usually save this pic for French trolls, but it works just as well for you middle-of-the-roaders:
